Water pipes have been around since the beginning of the last century. They are often made of copper, sometimes of lead and nowadays also a lot of plastic. The quality of these pipes and of the water that flows through them varies greatly per location and is by no means good everywhere. Over the past 100 years, 10,000 chemicals, medicines and contaminants have been added and it is increasingly difficult for water companies to control the quality of drinking water. In fact, there are tens of thousands of possible contaminants, but only a few dozen are tested.

Only distilled water can remove all of these contaminants. Reverse osmosis and carbon filters fall short and cannot remove everything that could affect your water quality. Our goal is to provide you with the best drinking water available, in fact it is comparable to the purest rainwater as it fell from the sky 1,000 years ago. Hence the name Rainboy.
